My name is Zed Shah and I live in London / Essex (UK)

I got into the outdoors in a big way at the beginning of 2014 and hence Zed Outdoors was born to document my journey into the following three areas:

1. BUSHCRAFT – Natural fire lighting, Primitive skills, Foraging, Survival, Plant ID, Shelter building, Hiking, Canoeing, Archery, Fishing, etc

2. NATURAL CRAFTS – Green woodworking, Leather crafting, Blacksmithing, Knife making, Basket making, Natural cordage making, etc

3. HOMESTEADING – Organic gardening, Food storage, Self sufficiency, Water collection / filtration, Security, Solar power, Hand tools, Vegetarian cooking, etc

I’m not an expert in any of these topics, simply a humble student sharing my journey
